Wrong Crib – music

He took my face, rocked my name,
I stayed low, he chased fame.
Crowds screamed, I stayed unseen,
Two lives split in the in-between.

He got gold, I held truth,
He wore chains, I got proof.
He ran loud, I stood still,
Different paths, but I got will.

Christmas hit, thought it’s done,
News broke hard, but I ain’t run.
They said drugs, but it’s a lie,
He lived big, but dead inside.

He had pain, I found peace,
He got trapped, I got released.
Same face, different claim,
But the real don’t need a name.
